To connect to Focus on a DGSD-owned Mac

If off-campus, connect to Cisco VPN

Connect to the G-Drive (aka YSD_PUB) and open the folder

smb://files.drama.yale.edu/ysd_pub

In the G-Drive find and open  FOCUS.rdp:

Log in with your Yale NetID and password:

You may be prompted “The certificate couldn’t be verified back to a root certificate”, Click Continue

NOTE: Because you are opening the application across the network at a remote location, it may take a while for the the FOCUS application to open. Please be patient.

As FOCUS is opening in Access, you will likely be prompted with this notice

Click on the “Open” button (only click once — it may take a few seconds to close).

If needed, log into the Microsoft Office.

You may then see a white screen for several seconds. Again, be patient and the FOCUS application should launch.

Be sure to quit the application when you have finished.
