As part of troubleshooting an issue, IT may ask you to refresh the group policies on your DGSD-owned Windows computer.
Connect to YaleSecure, Yale Wired or Yale VPN
Right click on the Start Menu Button and type “Command Prompt”
Click on the command prompt application to open it
In the new window type “gpupdate /force” and then press Enter on your keyboard.
The line “Updating Policy…” should appear in the Command Line window below where you just typed.
When the process has completed you may exit the application by clicking the “X” in the top right.
